This free boat listing (remember links go bad fast on free boats!) made me think of other styrafoam boats, like this one, that recently washed up in Florida. Clearly, these boats are capable of making it from somewhere to Florida, they float great, and they’re cheap to make- are they strong? I guess they’re strong enough, anyway, for a short trip. Interesting to think about.. I’ve had several boats with styrafoam shoved down in the pockets and voids to make it floatier, wonder if there are more boat building or repair uses for old styrafoam..
